Four things

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006 | Life in Czeltistan

It’s been awhile since I’ve indulged in any memes (not ‘coz they haven’t come around, but more ‘coz I’ve been a lazy, lazy blogger). I got this one through e-mail, but I’m returning it to the web.

Four jobs you’ve had in your life: Production artist, bartender, newspaper music editor, photo lab assistant.

Four movies you could watch over and over: (And I have, too.) Princess Bride, Aliens, Buckaroo Banzai, Groundhog Day

Four places you’ve lived: Milwaukee (in about a zillion different locations, which means I’ll be using it for 2 of my answers, so nyahh), Spring Prairie, Grafton. All Wisconsin.

Four TV shows you love to watch: Law & Order (any of ‘em), CSI, Without a Trace, Rescue Me. (Anyone see a theme here?)

Four places you’ve been on vacation: Ireland, New York, Prague, Toronto.

Four websites you visit daily: Everything you see over on the right side of the page there, The Morning News, OnMilwaukee.com, Waxy.org

Four of your favorite foods: Pizza, gingerbread cookies, and the two answers you all could have guessed on your own: Toast and bacon.

Four places you’d rather be: Not at work, on vacation (I’ve got a real NYC jones these days), skating at the Pettit, hanging out with R.

Four albums you can’t live without: The Replacements – Tim, Sugar – Copper Blue, Husker Du – Candy Apple Grey, Buzzcocks – Operators Manual

Four magazines you read: Real Simple, Budget Living, Wired, Milwaukee Magazine

Four cars you’ve owned: 1975 Chevy Impala, 1977 Chevy Nova, 1986 Chevy Nova, 1993 Toyota Camry.

Ok. Your turn.

Watching Groundhog Day over and over is sort of a theme project.

Spring Prairie! Now I thought I was the only person in the world that knew this place exists! I used to live on N. Lyons Rd closer to the old ski hill

We lived right at the heart of it, at the intersection of the two highways. Next door to Shavers’ store (if you were around back in the 70s and know where that was).
