Can’t Stop the Serenity

Monday, June 12th, 2006 | Joss Whedon-y Goodness

I think the site’s description says it all:

Joss Whedon’s Serenity on the big screen.
On Joss Whedon’s birthday.
To benefit Joss Whedon’s favorite charity, Equality Now.

Info on all planned screenings (US and international) can be found at Can’t Stop the Serenity. Info on the Milwaukee-area screening (which will be held on June 22, not June 23) can be found at this site. Prices are a little higher than normal movies, but remember — the extra is going to charity, and there will be some giveaways. Besides, it’s worth it to see that beautiful little ship on a big screen again.

Excellent! Except… Hmm, the US, Canada, the UK, even the Aussies and the Kiwis. But, none in the Rep. of Ire. Must do something about this next year.

In the meantime, must hunt down Equality Now and throw a few coppers into the cup.

So, happy birthday then, Mr. W. I just hope someone other than Kaylee is baking the cake…

Thanks so much for posting this information. I hope to see you there!
