Must be a slow news day

We can add this to the list of reasons why I’m not a news editor. When this guy called in with his story, my response would have been, “Errm. Ok. Up the dosage on whatever it is you’re supposed to be taking, m’kay? Thanks for calling.” No way would I have actually sent someone out to report on it. But that’s just me, I guess.

Personally, I just see a “T.” So maybe that’s a sign that language will save us. Ooh — or maybe it’s the top part of a corkscrew. Wine will save us all!

I was cleaning’s the bird’s cage today, and, in the um, stuff on the bottom, I swear I saw the image of Nostradamus. Or maybe George Bernard Shaw. Whatever. I’m going to build a shrine in the morning.


Everywhere I look, I see lines and circles. I am now praying to geometers.


Cole looks remarkably like Lucas Haas in “Mars Attacks,” so now, I’m praying to the Martians.
