Heard about this a few months back. should have developed it when I thought of it years ago, after crawling down Knocknarea with rocks in my shoes and mud on my backside.

Hindside is 20-20.

I’ve got some stones from Connemara that a friend brought me. She owns a cottage there and travels back and forth a few times a year. Eventually I get there to visit with her, and I’ll get my OWN dirt. I’ll even bring my own ziplock bag.

So that’s what happened to all the dirt…

The NYT article about the Irish dirt said it’s treated (my guess is that it’s irradiated) to conform with Customs and Agriculture restrictions. They also point out that the only other country that the US imports dirt from is Israel.

Ah yes. Dirt. The commodity formerly known as “land”.

Anybody need some NJ air? I ship UPS ground or can overnight it via FedEx.

Can no one here make the obvious connection? I’ll have to say it out loud: vampires, people. Vampires. Don’t you folks watch the movies? (Talk to me after a few drinks and I may have a joke about Irish vampires…but I don’t yet, sorry.)
