Everyone loves free museum admission day

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007 | Design-y Bits

Saturday, September 29 is Smithsonian Museum Day.

“Museum Day is a nationwide event taking place on Saturday, September 29, 2007 where participating museums and cultural institutions across the country offer free admission to Smithsonian readers and Smithsonian.com visitors, allowing for one day only, the free-admission policy of Smithsonian’s Washington, D.C.-based facilities to be emulated across the country.”

There are only 3 participating museums here in Wisconsin, but our neighbors in the State That Shall Remain Nameless to the South have a whole load of them. And there are plenty of other museums around the country that are participating as well.

Go get some culture. It won’t cost you a thing.
