Just had my first major Czelt withdrawal pain about 30 minutes ago. One of those silly, fleeting “I gotta walk by Anne’s desk – she’ll understand” moments.

I miss you!

Aww, thanks, BB. I kind of miss being there (and I always like your visits).

You picked a frakking good time to be unemployed if catching up on BSG is on your “to do” list…the first three seasons in one week!!! Can’t wait til Friday.

Well, now’s as good a time as any to start that world shaking blog that will get you a book deal ;)

I’ll keep checking in on you. Remember to bathe and put on outside-the-house clothes at least 3 times a week. Then, leave the house for at least an hour. Otherwise, an intervention will be planned and you’ll end up on some reality cable show in your jammies, with no make up, greasy hair, and cookie crumbs on your chin.

Excellent advice from Sherri, to whhich I’d add — beware the shrinking distinction between inside and outside wardrobes. Personally, I draw the line at chili or primer stains.

I’ve actually been dressed and out of the house every day except Monday. (Ok. And Friday, but I was wallowing on Friday.) I’ve been social and everything.

Within a matter of weeks I will be going from my current job to telecommuting on my current job and hunting for a new job (preferably part time, but probably necessarily full time). But I’m going to enjoy the month or so of grace time I’ll get while we unpack and move things around.

I heard from Augie what happened. Utter shock… although, I’m not terribly surprised to hear that HD is struggling again. Funny how you’re unemployed just as I’m employed again for the first time in 3 years (I started working within Marquette University February 25th).

We must get together and do alcoholic beverages. Tell me the next few Friday or Saturday nights you’re free.

And SO VERY SORRY about your kitty. I know how loved he was. My furry baby actually turns 6 tomorrow.

Anne, It has taken me time to sift through your “major layoff” news. This no-job business stinks! A thump-on-the-head to your former employer! Well wishes for you and your associates who have to look for a new job. Anne, you’re so smart….you’ll find something, soon.
Love, Pat
