You know what this will lead to, right?

A Book Lover’s Guide to IKEA seating can only lead to a renaming of all of IKEA’s sofas and chairs. (Ok. I’ll admit I’d probably look at seating named after Kjell Eriksson.)

I’m staying away from that Franzen chair, though. I have enough difficult furniture.

I have heard of many types of furniture styles and brands but never ‘Difficult Furniture.’

Love to know the style

I believe Mom can back me up on this — the futon in my spare room falls squarely in the “difficult furniture” category.

There are some items and Anne’s futon is one of them. Actually, you and Pat seem to have some difficult items as you rearrange your cabinets and display areas.. although they may shift roles as to which is difficult more as a factor of ease and space than just plain inherent nature, like the futon. I think it would be goos if “difficult” pieces were tagged right up front to avoid the surprise factor that only comes when trying to move, or relocate the item..or maybe clean it.
