Oxford Dictionaries has a nice little site where you can adopt a word to keep it from falling out of usage. Pick your word and then use it in conversation where you can to keep it alive.
I saved three words today. I suspect I’ll actually be able to use prandicle quite often.

The site is savethewords.org and very interesting. I did notice that prandicle, a word you chose, is still there and open for adoption..so the site must not have explicit faith that one adoptive parent will suffice.
I was wondering why you were telling me what the site is. Then I realized I forgot the link. D’oh!
