So fluffy

Friday, January 9th, 2004 | Life in Czeltistan

It’s been snowing here since sometime early this morning, but for some reason, that doesn’t seem to bother me in the least. The roads are still pretty good and it’s that big-flaked, dry, fluffy snow that’s perfect for cross-country skiing (which I’m sure I’ll be doing this weekend). Besides, it kinda looks like we’re in a snow globe that someone’s upended.

This is the kind of thing that makes me love winter.

It’s also the kind of thing that makes me not care so much that I just shelled out $360 on nice, grippy, new weather handler tires last weekend.

At least you have snow!! We had the warmest Fall in recorded weather history in NM and the winter is headed in the same direction…The day after Christmas we had A DUST STORM you would not believe…I expected to see Rod Serling come around the corner and say we were headed into The Twightlight Zone!!
High today was 65*F…I am ready to go to North Dakota!
Lot’s wife may have turned into a pilar of salt in the Old Testament but I may turn into a pilar of sandstone at this rate!!

Of course there is. It’s just in Canada.

Wherever it may be is of no consequence to me…AS LONG AS IT IS COLD!!
