I think I’m going to scream

On my desk at work, I have a stuffed Shaun the sheep from Wallace and Gromit. Shaun’s been on my desk for nearly five years now, but now that my desk is closer to a main walkway than it was at the old place, people are starting to notice him. Unfortunately, nearly everyone who walks by grabs him and says, “Ooh, a Serta sheep!”

Gah! No!! He is not one of those stupid Serta sheep.

For starters, Wallace & Gromit: Cool. Serta commercials: Not cool. Secondly, the absence of a giant number on his side should be a big clue he’s not a counting sheep.

I think Shaun may have to go into the back of the cube for awhile. I don’t think I can subject him to much more of this cruelty. Poor thing. Mistaken for an advertising vehicle rather than for the star that he is.

Heh. I’ve got one of those realistic plastic fish replicas that Japanese restaurants put in their front windows sitting on my desk. Inevitably, some dumbass will walk into my office and say, “Is that a real fish?”

They get terribly confused by my Milk and Cheese poster too.
