Mummies and other pillaged goods

The more I see on this Egyptian exhibition coming to the Milwaukee Public Museum, the more I think I might actually shell out the cash to go see it. Tickets are a bit spendy, especially when added to the regular Museum admission, but it seems like it might be worth it. Supposedly it’s larger than the Tut exhibition that toured the US.

I think I’ll give it a couple of months for the hype to die down, though. And maybe go on a Monday, when admission to the Museum is free to county residents. $18.50 is better than $25.50.

Where the hell is that museum, anyway? I’ve lived here four years, and I still don’t know.

I saw this last Summer at the National Gallery of Art in DC. It’s excellent. By all means go. Break open your piggy bank if you have to.

For $25.50, you could go to Egypt, but you’d have to fly coach…

Chris, some Monday you and I will go to the Museum for lunch. The food sucks, but you can get in for free. (Better still, we’ll have food delivered here and go after.) :-)
